Introduction

Department of Electro-Optical Engineering focuses on educating students to be skilled in the profession of optics and photonics engineering by integrating the hand-on practices with basic theories.  Through organized and extensive training program, the students will become the technicians in the fields of optical design, testing and manufacturing. In addition to pursuit of excellence in education and research, we also provide technical service to industry and society. Our department is committed to produce high quality manpower to meet with the demands of the photonics industry and to help promote photonics research in Taiwan.
